The hotel is located just 200 metres from Paddington station, with fast links from London‘s Heathrow Airport via the Heathrow Express. West End shopping, restaurants and theatres are within easy reach of the hotel, with underground stations at both Paddington and Lancaster Gate. The renowned London area, Notting Hill, with its designer boutiques, is not far away and just across Hyde Park are the shops of Mayfair and Knightsbridge.

The Royal Park Hotel occupies three carefully restored, mid 19th-century, Grade II-listed townhouses. The small lobby is well furnished with comfortable seating and a small bar area. In addition, there are two large drawing rooms where afternoon tea is served. The 48 guestrooms vary in size and layout due to the age of the building. None the less, all are opulently appointed with 19th-century leather-topped mahogany writing tables, Georgian chests of drawers, Beaudesert beds, beautiful benison fabrics and hand made English brass lamps. They also feature more modern touches, such as recessed flat screen televisions and broadband access. There is no restaurant but breakfast is served in the guestrooms on the lovely Georgian tilt topped tables. The Royal Park also provides a small but select Room Service menu.
