  • Rooms shabby but reasonably clean.
  • Some rooms experience noise from underground trains.

Our Review

Most guests aren’t terribly enthusiastic about either the rooms or quality of service at the Burnel, but they do concede that it’s cheap and has a great location.

Originally a Victorian family home, the Brunel Hotel is a relaxing, centrally located, 3-star property with 42 en suite rooms. All our rooms have en-suite facilities, direct dial telephones, hair dryer, colour television with satellite channels, tea and coffee making facilities. In the pleasantly appointed dining room guests can enjoy either a full cooked breakfast or a Continental buffet breakfast. The reception staff is on duty 24 hours a day and will be glad to help you with sight-seeing tours, theatre bookings, laundry, fax facilities and any other queries you may have. A safe deposit is also available at the reception.
