Guests prize the Columbia Hotel for the fact that it offers clean, comfortable and – above all – affordable accommodation in an upscale central area. The décor in some rooms may be a little tired, but they are well equipped and the staff is helpful.

The Columbia Hotel occupies five converted Victorian townhouses, which have undergone extensive renovation but retained many period details, creating an enviable mix of modernity and comfort. The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day and the public rooms are immensely spacious. The 100 high-ceilinged guestrooms are well decorated in cream and earth tones and many have park views with balconies. The hotel also has an elegant lounge, a cocktail bar and a welcoming breakfast room.

      needs a refurb...             neat and tidy ...             infrastructure facilities can be improved....             would definetely recommend it....             will definitely use hotel again...             Hotel was great ...
