The Elizabeth Hotel occupies three traditional London townhouse, which date from 1850. The medium sized lobby is cosily appointed with lots of dark wood, floral prints and an open fireplace. The 37 classic guestrooms have been designed to provide an atmosphere of tranquillity, perfect for working or relaxing. All the bedrooms are different in size, colour and style, but in general they are decorated in a traditional English manner and are well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The menu in the Rose Garden Restaurant features seasonal, Country Classic cuisine. The beautifully presented, homely dishes are expertly prepared using market fresh produce and herbs from the hotel’s own garden. Comfortable and welcoming, the Bar features a timeless atmosphere, created by the old leather armchairs and warm wood panelling. The Garden Terrace is always open and accessed through the Bar. In fine weather, guests can sit out here to enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea and perhaps an evening aperitif or even dinner by candlelight.
