Fantastic hotel, great location just 2 minute walk to Debenhams on Oxford Street and very centrally located for all main sights. A very modern chic hotel with lovely decor and a great lounge/lobby/bar area to relax in. Food was served until late in the lobby area upon our arrival, and this was most welcome. Breakfast was great, in a very nicely relaxed atmosphere. Hotel rooms nicely decorated and modern, although the bathroom was a bit small, particularly since I was on crutches! Access to the Virgin health complex and pool was a great luxury and treat while staying in central London. Would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Shopping on Regent Street was lovely, away from the crowds on Oxford Street. Afternoon tea at the Mandeville Hotel, only 5 minute walk away, was lovely. Billy Elliot was fantastic at the Victoria Palace Theatre.

Bathroom tiny so not ideal for anyone on the extra large size! Bedroom itself was fine.

Make sure to use the hop-on hop-off bus.

Perfect location for shopping. About a 1 minute walk down Welbeck Road to Debenhams. Walk through the store and you're on Oxford Street.

Hotel name has changed to The Marlborough and we weren't notified before our arrival. Fortunately the cab driver new where we meant.

We had a horrendous night in this hotel due to the fact that the people next door held a rowdy party from 3.30am - 6.30am. We made numerous calls to Reception but they didn't seem to be able to do anything to stop it. When we complained the following morning, we were told that the people in the other room were guests just the same as us. Can you believe it!!!!
We are in the process of trying to get a refund but don't hold out too much hope.

Room was really quite small and cramped. Hotel did not have our reservation and took 24 hours to find it! speed with which staff responded to requests was not particularly quick!
